MAC

• OS 8.1 or higher
• Netscape 6.0 or higher (WebEX and Centra)
• Internet Explorer not recommended as problems have been reported with opening files
• Capability of installing WebEX or Centra 1
• 28/56 kbs modem, cable modem, DSL, T1

Macintosh systems have some unique problems using the Mac version of Explorer. Netscape should be used. You may need to go into preferences on the browser and under “Helper Applications”, check for “video/x-pn-realaudio, video/x-ms-aff, and video/x-ms-wvx”. If there settings are not there, then you will need to make a “New Type” for each setting. Below is the info for each setting.

Video/x-pn-realaudio:

MME TYPE: video/x-pn-realaudio

Extension: rm

Open it with: realplayer.app (you will need to find the location by using the choose button)

Video/x-ms-aff:

MME TYPE: video/x-ms-aff

Extension: Open it with: windows media player.app (you will need to find the location by using the choose button)

Video/x-ms-wvx:

MME TYPE: video/x-ms-wvx

Extension: Open it with: windows media player.app (you will need to find the location by using the choose button)
